Minister Miller will hold a roundtable discussion on new legislation to make social media services and AI chatbots safer for children.

WINNIPEG, MB, June 25, 2026 /CNW/ - The Honourable Marc Miller, Minister of Canadian Identity and Culture and Minister responsible for Official Languages, will hold an in-person roundtable discussion on Friday, June 26 with the Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport), on the new Bill C-34, the Safe Social Media Act. Media are invited to attend the conclusion of the roundtable discussion, which will be followed by an informal media availability.
